About us

Family Friendly Workplaces™ is a global movement to transform the future of work through family-inclusive policies that support wellbeing, inclusion, and gender equality.

Backed by policymakers, industry leaders, and community organisations, we empower businesses worldwide to align with best-practice Global Work + Family Standards. For societies and economies to thrive, businesses and governments across the globe must unite to accelerate the adoption of family-friendly workplace policies, creating a more inclusive, productive, and sustainable future for all.

Parents At Work is a membership-based organisation providing work and family education and policy advisory services. Parents At Work aim to bridge the work and home divide by embedding flexibility, wellbeing, parental transition and wider caring services to enable workplaces and their people to thrive. As advocates and change drivers, we partner with UNICEF and other human rights agencies to improve gender equality and work life wellbeing outcomes.

Anne Hollonds commenced as National Children’s Commissioner in November 2020.

Before her appointment to the role, Anne was the Director of the Australian Institute of Family Studies, an independent statutory authority of the Australian Government responsible for conducting research and providing advice on child and family wellbeing.

For more than 23 years Anne has been a Chief Executive Officer of government and non-government organisations focussed on policy, service delivery and research in health, education and social services, including the Benevolent Society and Relationships Australia NSW.

Nicole Breeze

Chief Advocate for Children, Director of Programs and Advocacy, UNICEF Australia

Why Family Friendly?

Nicole has been instrumental in growing UNICEF Australia’s partnerships for impact and influence within Australia, growing support to children and young people particularly during crisis such as the drought, bushfires and COVID, and increasing our engagement with young Australians.

Nicole has significant experience in leadership roles in not-for-profit organisations in Australia and internationally. Over a decade with Oxfam, Nicole successfully established and grew Oxfam Australia’s global youth programs. As Executive Manager, she diversified her experience through leading major initiatives from the office of the Chief Executive across all aspects of the business in collaboration with key stakeholders including Government, partners, donors, and volunteers. Nicole Chaired Oxfam International’s program governance group for South Asia and was then recruited into an Oxford based strategy team where she was a key contributor to a major transformational change project, “Oxfam 2020”.
